Each session is interactive and developmentally appropriate, incorporating games, visual tools, movement, and guided discussions to help participants better understand themselves and others.
Students will learn and practice:
Self-regulation skills (managing big emotions, calming strategies)
Conflict resolution (how to handle disagreements and problem-solve peacefully)
Communication skills (active listening, clear expression, and understanding tone/body language)
Peer connection and friendship building (making and keeping friends, empathy, sharing)
Respecting boundaries and social rules (personal space, turn-taking, classroom behavior)
Confidence and self-advocacy (speaking up respectfully and expressing needs)
This group takes place in a HIPAA-compliant virtual setting, creating a safe space where children can build confidence, practice new skills, and feel empowered in social situations.
